Muneeruddin Mohammed had been diabetic since 1999, the same year as Prasad Vedantam. Muneeruddin was 49, based in Dubai, on 240 units of insulin daily when he started with BBDO in August 2021. That's a genuinely high dose, the kind that reflects years of multiple daily injections just to keep blood sugar in range.

By May 2026, his insulin requirement was down to 6 units. His HbA1c moved from roughly 7.5% to 5.5%.

"Same caveat as every insulin case in this series, worth repeating rather than assuming the reader remembers it from another page: this reduction happened under medical supervision, tracked over time. It is not a template for stopping or cutting insulin without your doctor actively managing the change."

The starting point

Twenty-two years diabetic, 240 units of insulin a day, managing the condition from outside India through BBDO's remote coaching.

The approach

Same five pillars as every BBDO member (Food, Fasting, Movement, Supplements, Stress) worked consistently over what turned out to be the longest documented timeline in BBDO's case studies: nearly five years, from August 2021 to May 2026.

That length is worth sitting with rather than glossing over. Most of BBDO's published timelines run months, not years. Muneeruddin's twenty-two-year diabetes history and 240-unit starting dose put him at the far end of what's realistic to expect quickly, which is exactly why his case is useful. It's evidence for what a genuinely difficult starting point looks like when the destination is still reached.

The result

240 units of insulin down to 6. HbA1c from approximately 7.5% to 5.5%. Twenty-two years of diabetes, managed from outside India, on a timeline measured in years rather than months.

The takeaway

Not every result on this site happens in four months or ten months. Muneeruddin's took nearly five years, starting from one of the highest insulin doses in BBDO's documented cases. If your starting point looks more like his than like a faster case study elsewhere on this site, his timeline, not the shortest one, is the more honest comparison to make.

As with every insulin-reduction case, none of this happened outside medical supervision. Read how the 5-Finger Punch framework works, talk to your treating doctor before changing any medication, and start your reversal to see what's actually involved.
