In-app deletion
Go to Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete My Account & All Data and confirm. Your data is queued for immediate removal.
Email request
Send an email to support@byebyediabetesandobesity.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" from your registered email address.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, contact details and authentication records.
- All health and clinical logs (glucose, HbA1c, weight, medications, etc.).
- Meal photos, lab reports and chat attachments.
- Community posts, comments and likes.
- Fitness data imported from Health Connect / Apple Health.
Timeline
- Account deactivation: Immediate after you confirm deletion.
- Data erased from live systems: Within 7 business days.
- Backups purged: Within 90 days due to our rolling backup cycle.
What we keep
We are required by Indian tax law to retain payment and invoice records for up to 8 years. These records contain transaction details only — no health data. Anonymised, aggregated analytics that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.
